This organisation requires a creative intermediate to senior UI/UX Designer to join their team in central Auckland. You will work closely with fellow designers and product team members to transform digital ideas into stunning and functional designs. Ideally, you’ll have a strong background in visual, and interactive design, delivering elegant and effective web/mobile apps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop design systems to ensure consistency across projects
- Gather and analyse detailed requirements
- Translate requirements into aesthetically appealing designs that meet briefs and objectives
- Contribute to planning and ideation sessions
- Collaborate with product owners, designers, and developers
- Uphold design best practices
- Deliver UI designs, wireframes, mock-ups, and working prototypes
- Test prototypes and provide feedback
- Communicate design choices effectively to team members and stakeholders
- Intermediate to senior level experience in UI and IxD
- Proficiency with industry tools, especially Figma. Experience with Webflow is a plus
- Strong visual and interaction design skills, including design systems, digital assets, and guidelines
- Ability to translate research findings into wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Excellent documentation skills and the ability to engage with developers
- User-centric mindset
- Solid design portfolio demonstrating previous design experience (pretty much a must)
- Creative and passionate about all things design

- Attention to detail and a high standard of output

- Salary ranging from $85,000 - $110,000 + KiwiSaver per annum pending your design chops and experience
