This organisation is seeking a talented intermediate UI/UX Designer to join their team in central Auckland. You'll collaborate with strategy, creative and product team members to transform digital ideas into stunning and functional designs. You'll bring solid visual and interactive design skills, with experience delivering elegant and effective web and mobile applications / digital product.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across projects
- Gather and analyse detailed requirements
- Translate requirements into aesthetically appealing designs that meet briefs and objectives
- Participate in planning and ideation sessions
- Collaborate with strategists, creative, and developers
- Uphold design best practices
- Deliver UI designs, wireframes, mock-ups, and working prototypes
- Test prototypes and provide feedback
- Communicate design choices effectively to team members and stakeholders
- Sound experience in end to end design for digital products
- Proficiency with industry tools, especially Figma
- Strong visual and interaction design skills, with experience in design systems, digital assets, and guidelines
- Ability to translate research findings into wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Good documentation skills and ability to engage with developers
- User-centric mindset
- Solid design portfolio demonstrating your design process and thinking (essential)
- Creative and passionate about design
- Excellent comms and ability to engage with people
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality output

- Salary ranging from $85,000 - $115,000 + KiwiSaver per annum based on experience
