The Digital Bakery is working with an AI-native SaaS startup that's automating complex compliance and document processing workflows. They're solving a real pain point in a regulated industry. This is a founding role with meaningful equity. You'll work directly with founders, ship to real users weekly, and help build something that changes how an entire industry works. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Build core AI features (design and ship document processing) compliance validation, and automated reporting using LLMs and custom ML pipelines
  • Own the architecture and make technical decisions on infrastructure, data models, and integration
  • Work with real users. Deploy features weekly, gather feedback, and iterate based on what you learn
  • Shape the product work with the founders to define what you build, how you prioritise
  • Establish the engineering culture, set standards for code quality, deployment practices, and how the team works as it grows
Required Skills & Key Ingredients:
  • Demonstrated experience shipping production code (Python/FastAPI/React)
  • Hands-on experience deploying LLM features in production (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini or similar)
  • Experience with RAG patterns and vector databases
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration
  • Outcome focused, not ticket-focused
  • Clear communicator
